Arriving by road

Nestled on the edge of the historic New Forest National Park, New Milton is a thriving town boasting the beautiful coastline of Barton On Sea. Located just off the A35, New Milton is within easy reach of the nearby city of Southampton, and popular tourist destinations of Lymington, Christchurch, and Bournemouth.

Arriving by train

New Milton station is a mainline station central to town, served by a reliable rail network. South Western Railway operates direct trains to New Milton from London Waterloo, also stopping at Basingstoke, Clapham Junction, Winchester, Southampton, Bournemouth, Poole, and Weymouth.

Arriving by air

New Milton is fortunate to be close to two main airports. Bournemouth airport is less than a 30 minute drive from New Milton and Southampton airport is within a 40 minute drive.

Arriving by sea

New Milton is situated on the beautiful coast, surrounded by the New Forest. There are a number of ferry services from European ports arriving in or close to New Milton. Ferry services run to and from Southampton, Poole, and Portsmouth. A ferry service also runs from nearby Lymington to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight.
