New Milton Plant a Tree Scheme 2024

Helping to preserve the green canopy across the parish, New Milton residents are invited to take part in the Town Council’s New Milton Plant a Tree Scheme 2024.

This can be a lovely way to celebrate a special event, a special someone, or to honour a loved one – or just to contribute to a beautiful natural environment.

Over 15 billion trees are cut down worldwide every year, with only about 2 billion trees replanted in their place – so every tree gifted to New Milton’s green canopy via this scheme is very important. Every tree really helps in our fight against climate change.

It’s easy to take part.

You simply choose a location and species of tree from our list.
This includes two varieties of flowering Crab Apples, two varieties of flowering Cherries, Hawthorn and Silver Birch. Our trees are UK grown and come with a UK health passport and are about 3-4 years old – not saplings or whips.

We will plant the tree, tell you where it is, and look after it for you – and send you a certificate when the tree is planted so you can visit the tree whenever you want.

The cost to you is £150-200, depending on the type of tree you choose.

To take part, call us on 01425 619120, and we can talk you through the process.

Or just complete and return this order form.
